Published very early this year is the book Epistemological and Theoretical Foundations in Language Policy and Planning by Michele Gazzola, Federico Gobbo, David Cassels Johnson and Jorge Antonio Leoni de León.

It is a short introductory book on language politics for university students, resulting from a university summer school on language planning in Costa Rica in 2017, organised with the generous support of the University of Costa Rica and financial assistance from the Esperantic Studies Foundation. Esperanto is discussed in chapter 4, “Language Policy as Public Policy”.

The other chapters include “Epistemological and Theoretical Foundations in Language Policy and Planning: Introduction”, “Critical Empirical Approaches in Language Policy and Planning”, “Corpus at the Core: The Epistemology of Language Planning”, “The Relationship Between Language Policy and Planning, Theoretical Linguistics and Natural Language Processing” and “Conclusions”.

Tre frue ĉi-jare eldoniĝis la libro Epistemological and Theoretical Foundations in Language Policy and Planning de Michele Gazzola, Federico Gobbo, David Cassels Johnson kaj Jorge Antonio Leoni de León.
